Description: This book is an excellent review of how the depletion of nutrients in the soil has led to poor quality food. Given that it was written in 1974, it is a remarkably forward thinking book, providing insights we are only just beginning to accept more generally. I found it an all around thought-provoking read, with fascinating examples to illustrate his thesis.
