Description: The objective of this study is to determine the number of successful breeding areas and young produced by three key raptor species nesting in the Kevin Rim Raptor Study Area (KRRSA). The three key species are: ferruginous hawks (Buteo regalis); prairie falcons (Falco mexacanus); and golden eagles (Aquila chrysaetos). In addition, researchers will band as many nestlings of the three key raptor species as possible with federal bands and color bands.
