Description: This curriculum-based motivational group model has broad application for all treatment providers, counselors, therapists, educators and other human service practitioners. It allows for the facilitation and implementation of motivational interviewing strategies within five group sessions. This group process and approach elicits and effects positive change in the lives of people struggling with life choices and personal behavior affecting their overall health, wellbeing and functioning. *NOTE: Changing behavior can be any behavior or life change (i.e. anger, addictions, leaving an abusive relationship, illegal behaviors, taking medications, managing health concerns, changing careers and going back to school).
