Description: This book critically analyses the extent to which a dialectic existed between enslaved revolutionaries in the Caribbean colonies and white aboltionists in Britain. The latter commented on the self liberating activties of the former creating a discourse which contributed significantly to abolition of slavery in the British West Indies.
