Description: LEMENTARY, MY DEAR WILLIE Willie Walker took her position as head of the Children's Welfare Agency very seriously. Too seriously, according to juvenile detective Michael Ryce. As far as Ryce was concerned, that petite, fire-and-brimstone, by-the-book social worker was the only thing keeping him from adopting T.C. Sherlock, the street-smart orphan he'd grown to love. Willie knew Ryce cared for T. C., but rules had to be followed; and the brash, arrogant Ryce seemed more suited to raising Cain than an eleven-year-old.
