Description: This volume gathers in compact form the official historical records of all air defense artillery regiments in the United States Army in order to perpetuate and publicize their traditions, honors, and heraldic entitlements. It includes the lineage and honors of the twenty-four Regular Army and five Army National Guard air defense artillery regiments in the force structure at the end of 1982. The lineages include the Regular Army and Army Reserve elements of each regiment that have been active since the inception of the Combat Arms Regimental System in 1957.--Preface.
