Description: When the Beaver Patrol arrives at the Pine Cone Girl Scout Camp, they find that their tent has been temporarily lost, and they must all squeeze into one small tent. Then Judy Grant receives a letter from her Aunt Mattie, who wants to come and visit, so the girls rent Calico Cottage and stay there until Aunt Mattie arrives. But they find that the cottage is haunted: at night, they hear thumps from the basement and a flute playing. The girls investigate the basement and find an unusual odor and mysterious air drafts. As they continue to investigate the mystery of Calico Cottage, they encounter a band of smugglers and find themselves in danger.
