Description: This is a government report about the activities of the Committee on Public Information, a war-time committee President Wilson established by executive order on April 14, 1917 (shortly after America declared war and entered WWI). The committee's activities included generating American propaganda, combating enemy propaganda, and censoring some political material. Although there is not currently a copy of the reprinted edition from 1972, there is a copy of the edition from 1920 on this site listed as: "Complete report of the chairman of the Committee on public information."
