Description: **The Secret** is a somewhat fanciful research into the Indigenous Yuchi of Southeastern North America. While Dr. Mahan starts with some well grounded research based in interviews with Yuchi Chief, Sam Brown, he moves out of the realm of science into more speculative realms. Joe Mahan did some excellent researches into the Yuchi, but this text is more popular speculation than it is ethnology. Still it is a good read, with some thought provoking speculations.
