Description: Five-year-old Dorrie is still reeling from the untimely death of her beloved father when she, her mother, and her big sister are forced to move away from their city apartment to a big, scary house. But in the attic of her new house, Dorrie finds a new friend: an ugly, mangled doll with one gleaming eye. Her vinyl skin is so warm, she almost feels alive. And sometimes she seems to wriggle in Dorrie's arms, like a real baby. And sometimes, when Dorrie isn't around, her new dollie crawls away to kill...and kill...and kill.
