The first section of the book is a listing of all 57 commercially available games for the VCS (at the time the book was published), each entry is broken up into six parts; 'Type of Game', 'Number of Players,' 'Solitaire Suitability,' 'Head to Head Suitability,' 'Complexity,' and a review 'Description.' The second section of the book has the tips and strategy for 25 games, each of these games is represented with at least one black and white illustration. The last section of the book is a look at the future of Atari and the companies that were making games for the VCS. The book ends with a 'Glossary', of terms and words used in the book.
