Intruders

Intruders

By Budd Hopkins

Subjects: Unidentified flying objects, alien, eyewitness, Sightings and encounters, investigations, Life on other planets, UFOs, New York Times reviewed, abductions, non-fiction

Description: The author invites readers to rationally look at the alien abduction phenomenon even while admitting that many people will not be able to accept it, regardless of the information he's presents. He avoids sensationalism and describes extensively his 2½ year investigation into the complex of abductions in the Indianapolis neighborhood of Copley Woods. Not dry reading at all, though. There are many gripping verbatim passages from hypnotic regression sessions conducted by various psychiatrists, psychologists and himself, where men and women describe in minute detail their experiences during abductions by "UFO occupants". Finally, the author explores the motives of both victims and perpetrators in this eye-opening page turner.
