Description: Another day! Another adventure! Herman Hummingbird starts his day as he usually does. However, today, he has a rather harrowing experience. Herman gets up early and begins his search for food. He has some idea where he is going but is always curious and ends up discovering new places and plants almost every day. Today is no exception. But, Herman becomes fascinated with and is drawn to a set of wind chimes on the deck of the house of the old man. The house is located in the beautiful red rock country of Sedona, Arizona. Normally attracted to various red flowers or feeders, his curiosity this time draws him to the teal blue chimes. This leads to Herman?s getting caught in a frightful situation. How will he get out of these circumstances? This story, which is based on an actual event, will give parents and young readers a wonderful opportunity to learn a little about Hummingbirds and perhaps begin to develop a lifelong interest in these beautiful winged wonders. In addition, Scott Stine?s beautifully crafted artwork will introduce all readers to the beauty of the Broad-billed Hummingbird and the Red Rock Country of Sedona, Arizona.
