Description: Dale and his friends continue their musical adventures in book three of the Adventures with Music series as American involvement in World War II winds down. The band has its first concert, Chrissy plays a solo, the group learns to play jazz, and Dale confronts a bully. In celebration of their 12th birthdays, the friends decide to do 12 things they've never done before. These events lead to an unforgettable summer of thrills and challenges, culminating with a trip to Chicago to hear the Chicago Symphony at Ravinia.
