Description: A white almost-18-year-old boy ‘borrows’ his mother’s car to celebrate his Matric results. Exceeding both the speed limit and the alcohol limit, he is arrested and placed overnight in police holding cells. Also in the cells is Tjokkie, an isiXhosa-speaking young man infected with HIV, who has been told by his township ‘doctors’ that he can be healed by having sex with a white virgin. The tragic consequences are foreseeable.
