Accusations bring neighbouring ranchers into conflict. With time running out before a range war brings a holocaust to Elm Creek, Walt and Jed are desperate to find the rustlers. Their probing takes them along some unlikely trails and eventually leads them to an unexpected incident at Elm Creek.
