By Council on New Jersey Affairs
Subjects: Fiscal policy, Urban policy, Infrastructure (Economics), Education and state, Economic policy
Description: Brings together thirteen working papers by Princeton University's Council on New Jersey Affairs. Three of the papers are new and cover topics high on the public's agenda of key issues confronting the state. 'The New Jersey property tax: A conference report', 'Education reform and urban schools', and 'Economic growth trends in New Jersey' build upon discussions at meetings of the Council during 1986-87. The other ten working papers are reprints of earlier Council publications and treat such issues as transportation and land-use planning, federal aid changes under the Reagan administration, infrastructure financing, New Jersey's medicaid program, classroom use of computers, and farmland preservation.
