Description: Little red hen: The little red hen finds none of her lazy friends willing to help her plant, harvest, or grind wheat into flour, but all are eager to eat the bread she makes from it. Brer Rabbit's new house: Brer Rabbit and his friends build a house, but Brer Rabbit tricks his friends so he can have the house to himself. Ugly duckling: An ugly duckling spends an unhappy year ostracized by the other animals before he grows into a beautiful swan. Elves and the shoemaker: A poor old shoemaker becomes successful with the help of two elves who finish his shoes during the night.
