Subjects: Tribes, Fiction, Emigration and immigration, History

Description: "This story begins with a man and his family about the year 1000 BC somewhere in the southwest of Eurasia. His primary occupation is feeding and taking care of his animals and family. He, his parents, and descendants are part of a tribe of nomads that have been on the move, living off the land, season following season, for as long as anyone in the tribe can remember. As the nomads experience migration problems, history is brought into the story to give the reader a better sense of the nomads travails. The story continues as his tribe comes into conflict with other warlike tribes in western Asia. They covered a lot of territory interacting with many other groups ending up in Europe. As the story unfolds, so do the experiences of the man's ancestors as they migrate from place to place and become known over time as Celts, Gauls, Germans, Saxons, Anglos, Iberians, Irish, Scots, and British."--Page 4 of cover.
