Description: This result of ethnographic field research presents the first systematic analysis of liturgical music in the context of the Chinese Mahayana-Buddhism. The music and the lyrics of 22 songs of the daily and the festival liturgy are transcribed, analysed and described on the background of the historical, ethnological and religious ways of interpretation.
