Faces of diversity
By Nashá London-Vargas
Subjects: Diversity in the workplace, Minority students
Description: "Faces of diversity (the student support network: managing diversity on campus), fourth edition highlights the inception and success of "the student support network" at Cornell University (1998). As the Associate Director of Counseling and Advising for minority student affairs, I had the opportunity to implement over thirty-two programs on campus which brought together four-hundred students (minority/not minority) to learn and work across their differences. This intention is what student life is supposed to be about, but is rarely accomplished. Much of student citizenship is developed outside the classroom. Therefore, students should develop leadership in the context of their lives as students in their campus environment." --Back cover.
