Description: Nicolas-Jean Faure was a student in medicine, and three days after the coronation of Napoleon, was incarcerated in Charenton. Once freed, Faure became a doctor and was known for joining the fight against typhus, being a pioneer of ophthalmology, and the author of numerous treaties.
