Description: After his parents died in a fire, Stephen Kirk expected to inherit a fortune, although his parents had left no will. But doubts are soon cast on his legitimacy. David Centre, a qualified solicitor, tries to unravel Kirk's complicated family history, only for his client to be arrested on a more serious charge.
