Description: Looking across the lake from their window on the first evening of their holidays in Ireland, young Charles and Kate noticed one island that seemed larger and darker than the others. When they asked the Irish maid, Bridie, about it she hastily drew the curtains. "There's things that isn't good to see," she said quietly, and left them. After that, of course, Charles and Kate had to investigate.
