Description: A story about a little boy, Sam, and his neighbour and school mate, Keiko. The children are knitting for the war effort in their classroom but while Keiko is very good at it, Sam is not and he gives up in frustration. But when Keiko and her family are taken away to an internment camp because of the war, Sam masters knitting so he can make Keiko a scarf to keep her warm until she can come back home.
