Description: Santa Ana is a wounded yearling, whose fierce mother won't accept human help. Kirstie turns to a local Cherokee boy, Three Birds, who patiently tracks the wounded horse. But just as he discovers her refuge, a rattlesnake spooks Three Birds' own horse and he is thrown and injured. Now Kirstie and Lisa must tend the Cherokee boy as well as the weak and dying Ana - can they save them both?
