Description: The JMH CAP provides management direction for important resources and uses in the planning area. It also addresses conflicts between development of energy resources, recreational activities, and other resource uses. The JMH CAP also provides management direction for certain resources, such as big game habitat, unique sand dune-mountain shrub habitat, and unstabilized and stabilized sand dunes, while allowing recreational activities, mineral leasing and development, livestock grazing, and other activities. The decision is to select and approve a management strategy for the planning area. Some Green River RMP decisions are superseded by this amendment. Green River RMP decisions not addressed in this Amendment continue unchanged. Green River RMP amendments, including fluid and locatable mineral decisions that were deferred in the "core" area, apply only to the JMH CAP planning area.
