Description: The Fisheries Habitat Management Strategic Plan is one of a series of Strategic Plans prepared by BLM [Bureau of Land Management] for managing fish and wildlife resources on public lands. This plan identifies BLM goals and objectives, as well as administrative procedures, actions, and operations to be taken by BLM for management of fisheries on public lands. Implementations of this national initiative will provide enhanced opportunities for the public to enjoy the fisheries of the public lands, enhance active support of fisheries habitat management, and enhance Federal and State fisheries management programs.
