The book was originally sold at $9.99 in the U.S.A., and £9.95 in the U.K. A updated version of the book was later released in 1997, with the NES walkthroughs removed, and in their place there is a walkthrough guide for the Game Boy game, "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening". The second version was originally sold at $9.99 in the USA, and $13.95 in Canada, and £9.99 in the U.K.
