Description: This book is a short biography of an influential Bible teacher, minister, evangelist, and conference leader among the Mennonite Brethren, Rev. Heinrich H. Voth (1851-1918). His ministry spanned three countries: Russia, the United States, and Canada. As a pastor, traveling evangelist, conference moderator, and chair of the board of Christian mission, he left his imprint on both individuals and institutions. Two of his sons were also major figures in the Mennonite Brethren Church: Henry as evangelist and pastor, John as missionary in India. H.H. Voth was a bold minister of the gospel and yet sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He was known to put the Lord's work first, even at the expense of personal well-being and economic progress.
