Description: EQ-53 is the information on a cleaning solution for the housewife to clean washable wool clothing in to prevent the clothing moth and carpet beetle from destroying the clothing. This was a dangerous item because it contained DDT (but this was created before they knew the problems of DDT. As I said this was before they knew about the dangers of DDT. This was printed in 1952
