There is no lexile level because it's for early readers. The main character is baby Mickey and it's in 3rd person point of view. The setting is his home. This book is about baby Mickey losing his red ball so we go through the different parts of his house looking for it, while learning about other colors as well. The main idea is leaning about colors. I would recommend this book because many people love Mickey Mouse and to see him as a baby gives them a sense of a personal connection. It's also a really great way to introduce colors. Overall I really liked the book. It was cute and picture friendly. It's a fun way to learn new colors. **AMAZON customer: Beckey** July 11, 2013 (3 of 5 stars): Beckey liked it. Short board book geared towards younger children in the age of 2 to 4. Mickey is looking for his red ball & it goes thru the different colors looking for his ball **AMAZON customer: Lindsey** Jan 13, 2013 (3 of 5 stars): A short story about baby Mickey looking for his toy. Along there way there are lots of other colors and other red objects. A good compare/contrast story for toddlers with baby versions of familiar Disney characters. **AMAZON customer: Robbie S.:** This book was way too confusing. It tricked me into thinking the red ball was everywhere!
