Description: Chubby Melissa daydreams about high school football hero Greg, but Greg only dates cheerleaders. After her aunt buys her a health club membership, Melissa slims down and learns about hair, clothes, and make-up, only to return to school for her junior year and find that Greg's girlfriend has moved away -- leaving an empty spot on the cheerleading squad. Melissa and her two closest friends decide to try out -- even though only one of them can be elected cheerleader, perhaps that lucky girl can help get the others into the "in" crowd.
